One leader from each Group/Unit will need to CHECK IN WITH THE TICKET MASTER before 5.30pm and collect tickets. The ticketmaster will be on Exmouth Road at the juntion with Collingwood Road https://w3w.co/salad.about.vocab .
Agree and communicate IN ADVANCE where and when your members should meet. Be aware - there will be over 450 Scouts (children & adults) in the area - LEADERS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ATTENDEE SAFETY DURING ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE.
Please - DO NOT ENTER THE THEATRE UNTIL YOU HAVE CHECKED IN
LEADERS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE REGISTRATION OF YOUR SECTION
Bring your own registration lists based on your OSM Event sign-ups / ticket sales report.
It will be a busy, chaotic, dark and excitable place, please take particular care to check attendees IN and OUT.
Each Group/Unit will have allocated blocks of seating in the stalls or circle of the theatre.
Within those blocks it is free seating. Groups may allocate if they wish, but within their block and with some flexibility if needed should things change on the day. We strongly recommend an adult at either end of a row of seats.
It is a public show, with members of the public seated in and around us. Ensure Scouts are considerate and thoughtful to other theatre goers. If there are any problems, speak to a member of Theatre staff - who will be very happy to help.
Agree and communicate an emergency meeting point a safe distance away from the Theatre or Collingwood Road for your section, should it be needed.
Finally, have fun!
Show by example how to join in with a panto - booing the baddies, cheering the goodies, shouting "he's behind you" etc.
You might even want to pack a couple of full loo-rolls for the infamous Five Toilet Roles song!
Leaders to verify ticket allocations against OSM Registrations - see Ticket Report
Every attendee (children, leaders, helpers, chaperones) must hold a paid ticket. If someone is not listed on the Ticket Report - they do not hold a ticket.
Leaders are responsible for understanding any special needs or access requirements for their attendees and for discussing these in advance with the Theatre (and notifying email@example.com).
Groups/Units are responsible for ensuring POR ratios are met both inside and outside the theatre. Never leave a young person unchaperoned.
