Easily recognised by their bright turquoise jumpers, Beavers are the youngest members of the Scouting family aged 6 to 8.

Beavers are given the opportunity to make friends, play games, try new activities, and learn skills for life.

Beavers have lots of fun doing different activities which include making things, going on visits, making friends, doing badges and going away for a night on a sleepover. A Beaver sleepover is often the first time a young person spends a night away from their family.

Young people can join Beavers in the three months leading up to their sixth birthday. They can move up to the next section, Cubs, around their eight birthday.
